Your visit is private by default
The Long Number is designed to be used without being tracked.
By default, The Long Number does not collect, store, or transmit information about how you use the experience. This includes the income value you enter, the billionaire you select, the milestones you visit, or how you navigate through the site.
We do not use behavioral analytics, advertising trackers, persistent visitor identifiers, or profiling technologies.
We do not currently use Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, or equivalent tracking services.
The Long Number does not set cookies or use browser storage to track or identify visitors.
Hosting and technical data
The Long Number is hosted by Hostinger.
Like other web hosting providers, Hostinger automatically processes technical information when your browser requests files from the website. This may include your IP address, the date and time of a request, the requested resource, and technical information about your browser or device.
This information is generated as part of the normal operation of the web server and may be used to deliver the website, maintain its availability and security, diagnose technical problems, and prevent abuse.
The Long Number does not combine this server information with your income input, billionaire selections, milestones, or other interactions with the experience, and does not create its own visitor profiles or analytics database from it.
Where this technical information constitutes personal data, it is processed for the legitimate purposes of operating, securing, and maintaining the website. Hostinger processes relevant data in accordance with its hosting services, data-processing terms, retention practices, and applicable legal obligations.
Voluntary contribution of usage data
The Long Number does not currently collect behavioral usage data.
In the future, we may offer visitors the option to voluntarily contribute usage data to the project for statistical, research, or product-improvement purposes.
If this feature is introduced, participation will be optional.
Before anything is sent, you will be able to see exactly what information would be collected and why.
The explanation will also describe how the data will be used, how long it will be retained, whether any service providers are involved, and how you can withdraw your participation when applicable.
Declining to contribute data will not restrict or alter your access to The Long Number.
No analytics or tracking service introduced in the future will be permitted to collect behavioral usage data before the required voluntary choice has been made.
Third-party services
The Long Number does not currently load third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, social-media pixels, or similar services when you visit the site.
If a third-party service is introduced in the future and changes how visitor data is processed, this Privacy Policy will be updated before that processing is enabled.
Any such service must be consistent with The Long Number's privacy-by-default approach.
Data sharing and sale
The Long Number does not sell visitor data.
Because The Long Number does not currently collect behavioral usage data, there is no behavioral visitor dataset to sell, share for advertising, or provide to data brokers.
Technical information processed by our hosting provider may be handled by Hostinger and its authorized service providers where necessary to provide and secure the hosting service or where required by law.
Your rights
If personal data relating to you is processed, applicable data protection law may give you rights including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and data portability, as appropriate to the circumstances.
You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.

Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if The Long Number's technology or data practices change.
If a future change introduces a new form of data collection or a materially different use of personal data, the relevant information will be provided before that processing begins.
Your visit is private by default.
If you choose to contribute usage data, you can see exactly what will be collected and why before anything is sent.
